Tabule, hummus, ayran, garlic sauce, rose water and much more — this is all about Lebanon. Most crucially, Lebanese cuisine is very useful, because most dishes include a lot of fresh vegetables. Traditional cuisine will be remembered for its fragrant ayran, spicy taste of pine nuts, the smell of coffee and a combination of spices in dishes.
Lebanese cuisine is considered to be one of the most useful in the world. Health Line ranked this cuisine as 10th when talking about the usefulness. The trick is that Lebanese dishes are low-fat and mostly with vegetables. The Lebanese cook from greens, vegetables and fruits that grow on their land to maintain freshness and maximum nutrients. What is more, the cooking process is extremely easy, and due to this, Lebanese dishes are so attractive for many people.

Ayran
A homemade Ayran is a refreshing yogurt-based unsweetened drink. It is well known as the best way to quench your thirst.
Ayran is a sour milk drink made of yogurt, mint and spices, usually cooked in the summer to quench thirst.
Ingredients:
1 garlic clove;
1 cup of natural yogurt (without sugar);
½ glasses of water;
ice;
½ teaspoon of salt;
½ teaspoon of dried mint;
2 fresh mint leaves.
How to cook: mix garlic with yogurt and water. Add ice, salt, dry and fresh mint. Mix everything with a mixer or by hand, shaking the drink well in a jar.
Garlic Sauce
Delightful creamy garlic sauce is easy to prepare, but at the same time has a rich and original taste. Perfect for vegetables, cheese or chicken shawarma.
Garlic sauce is very easy to cook, and it tastes good with vegetables and cheese. It is an integral part of any Lebanese shawarma.
Ingredients:
20 garlic cloves;
½ teaspoon of salt;
1.5 tablespoon of lemon juice;
sunflower oil;
olive oil.
How to cook: mix garlic, salt and lemon juice with a mixer. Add sunflower and olive oil, if necessary, add more lemon juice. Mix until it is creamy.
Shawarma
Traditional chicken shawarma is juicy, well-marinated chicken. Best served with flatbreads and delightful garlic cream sauce.
Juicy chicken fillet is the main ingredient of Lebanese traditional shawarma. It is desirable to add garlic sauce to make your shawarma taste "real".
Ingredients:
200 grams of chicken fillet;
2 tablespoons of lemon juice;
grape vinegar;
apple cider vinegar;
½ teaspoon of salt;
basil;
oregano;
chili;
cumin;
cardamom;
bay leaves;
black and sweet pepper;
fresh mint;
chopped onion;
1 tablespoon of garlic sauce;
sunflower oil;
olive oil.
How to cook: cut chicken fillet into small slices. Mix it with a marinade made of grape and apple vinegar, lemon juice, salt, basil, cumin, chilli, cardamom, bay leaf, black and sweet pepper, fresh mint, chopped onion, and 1 tablespoon of garlic sauce. Cover the mixture with clingfilm and leave overnight in the refrigerator. Before cooking your shawarma, remove onions and mint from the mixture. Fry in a pan until golden.
